Betty Lee Batts Paige

Betty Lee Batts Paige, 76, of Lamar, died June 25, 2025, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in New Albany. She was a member of Everett Chapel MB Church where she served on the mother board. She was a retired custodian at the Farese Law Firm.

Visitation will be held at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home on July 5 from 12-5 p.m. and on July 6 at Everett Chapel MB Church from 12-12:55 p.m. with services at 1 p.m. Rev. Larry McKinney III will officiate. Burial will be in Springfield Cemetery in Michigan City.

She leaves a daughter, Margaret T. Paige of Ashland; son, Andrew Paige of Blue Mountain; sister, Lucille Gordon of Michigan City; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her siblings, James Batts, Johnny "Skip" Go, Henry James Batts, Mary Ann Peterson, Iola Rucker and Edna Mae Rucker.
