David Lee Carter, 72, of Cayce, formerly of Ripley, died May 16, 2025, at Methodist Olive Branch Hospital. He was a member of Mt. Pisgah CME Church and retired from Carrier Inc. in Collierville, Tenn.
Visitation will be held at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home on May 23 from 4-6 p.m. and on May 24 at Mt. Pisgah CME Church from 9-9:55 a.m. with services at 10 a.m. Rev. Billy Williams, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
He leaves his wife, Brunella "Brenda" Carter; daughters, Tannea Wilson of New Albany, Kelisha Beckwith of Muscle Shoals, Ala.; sons, Paul Carter of Lexington, Ky., Juni Carter of Madison, Ala., Jeklulve Hale of Oakland, Tenn.; 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
