Youth Forum

The Marshall County Justice Court building was the setting for a “Youth Forum to discuss possible solutions to solving juvenile crime and violence in our County.” Representatives from organizations in and around Marshall County attended the Forum. The individuals/organizations included Sheriff Kenny Dickerson; Holly Springs Police Chief Darryl Bowens; Kerry Reid, Marshall County Schools police; Melody Madaris and others from Communicare; Byhalia Police Chief Zach Jenkins; District Attorney Ben Creekmore; Marshall County Department of Human Services and Child Protective Services, and Holly Springs and Marshall County Schools. “We greatly appreciate the support for this effort from everyone who attended today,” said Lt. Col. David Cook with the sheriff's department. “This was a great start.”
