David Earl Johnson

David Earl Johnson, 93, of Lake Cormorant, died February 19, 2025, at his home. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Horn Lake and a machinist with Quebecor World for 39 years. He was a US Army Reservist and a US Navy veteran.
Services were held at 2 p.m. on Feb. 23 at Spring Hill Baptist Church in Waterford with burial in the church cemetery. Holly Springs Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
He leaves his wife, Betty Jo Smith Johnson; son, Richard Johnson (Carole) of Lake Cormorant; daughters, Joyce Sandlin (Paul) of Walls, Lisa Cooper (Mark) of Lake Cormorant; six grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Curtis Johnson; and sister, Kathryn Bullock.
