Margaret Strickland Byrd

Margaret Strickland Byrd, 92, of Southaven, died January 21, 2025, at her home. She was a caregiver.
Graveside services were held at 11 a.m. on Jan. 25, at Hill Crest Cemetery. Holly Springs Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
She leaves a son, Randy Byrd of Brooksville, Fla.; sister, Betty Scott of Southaven; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband W.E. Byrd; daughter, Gail Bledsoe; brother, C D Strickland; sisters, Alma Flynn Dena Tomlinson, Dot Hooker, Pat Cook; and a great-grandchild, Quinten Perez.
