James Ricky Taylor

James Ricky Taylor, 67, of Hickory Flat, died January 20, 2025. He was an owner/operator truck driver for 25 years. He was in the U.S. Army and Army National Guard.

Services were held at Faith Baptist Church on Jan. 24 at 2 p.m. Bro. Donald Worsham officiated. Burial was in McKay Cemetery in Hickory Flat. Holly Springs Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

He leaves his wife, Wanda Courson Taylor; daughter, Ashley Towery (Jerry); sons, Justin Taylor (Britney), Rick Taylor (Ashley), Michael Taylor (Rachelle); a sister, Teresa Taylor; motherin-law, Ouida Collins Courson; 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James Russell Taylor and Annie Lois Hunsucker Taylor; brothers, Roger Dale Taylor, Lynn Taylor; sister, Tammy Taylor; and father-in-law, Wade Courson Jr.
