Virginia Allen

Virginia Allen, 61, of Holly Springs, died January 15, 2025, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Southaven. She was a member of Adolphus Chapel CME Church and worked at Magnolia Inn.

Visitation will be held at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home on Jan. 24 from 3:30-5:30 p.m. and on Jan. 25 at Adolphus Chapel CME Church from 9-9:55 a.m. with services at 10 a.m. Rev. Willie Ward, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

She leaves her daughters, Lenda Allen of Memphis, Tenn., Crystal Allen of Holly Springs; son, Herbert Nunnally Jr. of Holly Springs; sister, Minnie Sanderson of Memphis; brothers, Forest Allen, Tommy Allen, both of Holly Springs, Willie B. Allen, Jamie Allen, both of Memphis, Ricky Sanderson of Boston, Ma., Robin Allen, Anthony Allen, both of Savannah, Ga.; fiance Herbert Nunnally of Holly Springs; and six grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence Allen and Effie Sanderson Allen Simmons; siblings, Clarence Arthur Allen, Gertie Allen and Nathaniel Allen.
