Cora Lee Corbett Barnes

Cora Lee Corbett Barnes, 87, of Waterford, formerly of Jonestown, died January 6, 2025, at Holly Springs Rehab and Health Center. She was of the Baptist faith and a healthcare worker.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Jan. 17 in the chapel of J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home. Rev. Marqui Garmon will officiate.

She leaves her daughters, Mary Ann Corbett Jones of Waterford, Joyce Corbett of Minneapolis, Minn., Carolyn Marshall of Sacramento, Calif., Bessie Bird of Memphis, Tenn.; sons, Ronald Corbett of Iowa, Johnnie Barnes, James Barnes, both of Minneapolis; brother, Ron Corbett of San Francisco, Calif.; and a host of grand, great-grand, and greatgreat-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her children, Ernie Barnes and Joey Corbett.
