Nettie Mae Malone Gordon

Nettie Mae Malone Gordon, 95, of Abbeville, died December 31, 2024, at Oxford Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was a member of Jeffrie Chapel MB Church where she served on the mother board. She was a retired cook from Smitty’s Restaurant in Oxford.

Visitation will be held at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home on Jan. 8, 2025, from 3-5 p.m. and on Jan. 9 at Jeffrie Chapel MB Church from 10-10:55 a.m. with services at 11 a.m. Rev. Mcarthur King, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

She leaves a daugther, Ella Ree Russell of Abbville; sister, Lorine Marion (William Earl) of Waterford; brothers, Burley Malone (Mildred Mae), Sulic Malone, both of Abbeville; three grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar Gordon; son, Oscar Gordon Jr.; siblings, Minnie Berry, Corrine Lynch, Christine Nicks, Nicey Gordon, Sylvester Malone, Hettie Logan, and Bobby Malone Jr.
