Marie Hankins Mitchell

Marie Hankins Mitchell, 67, of Southaven, formerly of Holly Springs, died December 23, 2024, at her daughter's home in Holly Springs. She was a member of Rising Star MB Church and retired from Trinity Health and Rehab.

Visitation will be held at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home on Jan. 2, from 3:30-5:30 p.m. and on Jan. 3 at New Dimension Salt and Light Ministries from 11-11:55 a.m. with services at 12 noon.

She leaves her daughters, Sharon Hankins of Holly Springs, Rekeasha Smith of Southaven, Frankie Mitchell of Byhalia, Chirelle Jones of Holly Springs; sons, Larry Mitchell Jr., Scottie Mitchell, both of Holly Springs, Shedric White of Memphis, Tenn.; sisters, Mozella Taylor of Memphis, Shirley Hankins of Grand Rapids, Mich., Bessie Crane, Willie B. Scott, both of Oxford; brothers, Harold Craine, Saul Craine, both of Memphis; 17 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her siblings, Janelle Johnson, Henry Gene Taylor, Roy Lee Craine, Sam Craine Jr. and Charles Lee Craine.
