Mary Francis Walker Jackson

Mary Francis Walker Jackson, 85, of Holly Springs, died December 15, 2024, at Baptist Memorial Hospital North Mississippi in Oxford. She was a member of Mt. Gilead CME Church where she served as a church usher, member of Heroines of Jericho, Miller Court #301 and was a retired school teacher from the Benton County School District.

Visitation will be held at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home on Dec. 21 from 1:30-4 p.m. and on Dec. 22 at Chulahoma MB Church from 12-12:55 p.m. with services at 1 p.m. Rev. Willie E. Hoey will officiate. Burial will be in Lewers Chapel CME Church Cemetery in Senatobia.

She leaves her husband, Robert George Jackson; daughter, Jacqueline Jackson Beard of Tupelo; son, Frederick Jackson of Holly Springs; sisters, Shirley Jeffries, Juanita Walker, both of Grand Rapids, Mich., Sarine Walker of Concord, NC; brother, Bernard Walker of Aurora, Ill.; six grandchildren and one greatgrandson.

She was preceded in death by her children, Darryl Jackson and Roderick Jackson.
