Doris Ree Woods Reed

Doris Ree Woods Reed, 81, of Nesbit, formerly of Holly Springs, died December 5, 2024, at her home. She was a member of Hopewell No. 1 MB Church and a homemaker.

Visitation will be held at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home on Dec. 13 from 2-6 p.m. and on Dec. 14 at Hopewell No. 1 MB Church from 1:30-2:25 p.m. with services at 2:30 p.m. Rev. Leroy James, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Bowens Cemetery (Hopewell).

She leaves a daughter, Obberdellar Jones of Olive Branch; sons, Dayton Leroy Reed of Nesbit, Jerry Lee Reed of Southaven; sisters, Sandra Woods, Carol Woods, both of Holly Springs; brotherss, Herman Woods, Albert Woods, both of Holly Springs; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her siblings, Shirley Cathy, Beatrice Walton, Clarence Woods, Dorothy J. Walton, Eddie Lee Woods and Johnnie Woods.
