Benjamin L. Marion

Benjamin L. Marion, 92, of Holly Springs, died November 26, 2024, at his home. He was a member of Chulahoma MB Church and retired from Wurlitzer Inc.

Services were held at 1 p.m. on Dec. 1 at Chulahoma MB Church. Rev. Lonnie Whitfield, pastor, officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

He leaves his wife, Annie Mae Marion; daughters, Ethel Lewis, Geneda Porter, both of Southaven; sons, Selma Marion of Potts Camp, Louis Marion of Smyrna Ga.; seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.

He was preceded in death by his siblings, George Marion, Frank Marion, Isiah Marion, Henry Marion, Sylvester Marion, Gary Carruthers, Sonny Carruthers, Rosie Pitts, Everlene Bogard, Atlena Jones, Inez Hill, and Luzella Carruthers.
