Holiday shopping by support local business

Grady Brooks celebrated his 23rd birthday Saturday with family. His afternoon started with a yummy Mexican lunch in Southaven and a cookie cake (shoutout to The Sugar Fairy) and presents in the home of Caitlyn, Trace and Delilah Bray.

Rowan Thompson of Dallas, Texas, was the guest of Kay and Laura Wheeler this week. He arrived in Oxford last week for a few days to attend the Ole Miss and Oklahoma football game.

With October ending comes Holiday Open Houses for our local businesses. All business always have their shops decked out in all things Christmas to get everyone in the festive spirit. They will have specials on seasonal offerings and also their usual fare, which is incredible.

The open house begins at 4 p.m. Thursday, November 7, and is over at 8 p.m.

It is such a fun way to start the holiday shopping while also supporting locally owned businesses. We are so beyond fortunate to have them all here and each offering a different variety from the next. Get your lists ready and see y’all next Thursday.
