Tommy Lamar Guy

Tommy Lamar Guy, 53, of Memphis, Tenn., formerly of the Chulahoma community, died October 25, 2024, at St. Francis Hospital in Memphis. He was a member of Bell Grove MB Church where he served as a church usher. He was a security officer at Phelps Security Inc. in Memphis.

Visitation will be held at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home on Nov. 2 from 12:30-4 p.m. and on Nov. 3 at Bell Grove MB Church from 11:55 p.m. with services at 2 p.m. Servant Marvin Lucas will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

He leaves his mother, Catherine Guy Haywood of Memphis; father, Tommy Williams of North Carolina; sisters, Nicole Wells of Nashville, Tenn., Sandra Haywood of Holly Springs, Shounteil Haywood, Catrina King, both of Memphis; brothers, Maurice Haywood, Shoun Haywood, both of Memphis, Timothy Williams, and Kevin Williams, both of North Carolina.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Scottie O'Neal Haywood.
