A.C. McKinnie

A.C. McKinnie, 78, of Michigan City, died October 9, 2024, at his home. He was a member of Union Hill Baptist Church in Ashland and worked as an Assembly Line Technician.

Visitation will be held at Serenity Funeral Home on Oct. 18 from 4-6 p.m. Services will be held at Union Hill Church at 2:30 p.m. on Oct. 19. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

He leaves his wife, Susie Mae Hampton; children, Angela (Charles) of Stone Mountain, Ga., Alvin (Kenyetta), Alex, Robert, all of Detroit, Mich., Alfred, Vernon, both of Michigan City; brothers, Lem McKinnie (Betty), Eddie Lee McKinnie, Karl McKinnie (La'Toya), all of Michigan City, John Lee McKinnie of Bolivar, Tenn., Roy Mason of Calif.; sisters, Elmon Jean Lockette of Whiteville, Tenn., Erma Jean Jones of Grand Junction, Tenn., Nancy Woods of Bolivar, Rosemary Buckley of Corinth; and several grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his siblings, Oscar McKinnie, Velve Lee McKinnie, Murlean Jackson, Billy McKinnie, and James Edward McKinnie.
