I have been a subscriber to the to The South Reporter as well as the Tupelo Daily Journal for many years. Last week The South Reporter had a big front page story with pictures of Tate Reeves and Cindy Hyde-Smith who had been in Holly Springs to break ground on the huge plant being built to make electric batteries to power commercial trucks. (I am late in sending this. The date of Tate and Hyde-Smith’s visit was July 14, 2024.) Reeves called this the single largest payroll commitment in the entire history of Mississippi. This plant is one of 316 new projects and most are in RED states, all the result of the Inflation Reductfon Act, signed into law by President Biden. No Republican signed on to this, yet nearly everyone of them embraced the Marshall County Project. Here is what Cindy Hyde-Smith had to say about the lnflation Reduction Act. “The lnflation Act expends $370 billion to jam through Democrats radical Green New Deal climate agenda including tax breaks to wealthy Americans to buy electric vehicles and kitchen appliances. Yet, she was front and center smiling with shovel in hand, breaking ground on this project. During that now famous debate Donald Trump sneered, critical of Biden’s New Green Deal. He seems to not give a hoot that it will employ 2,000 people at the average pay of $66,000 annually.
I am not a big fan of Biden, however I love my country and the freedom we enjoy living in a great democratic nation. It is a privilege that we should all appreciate. I am sure that by now everyone has heard of the project 2025. I believe this is geared to give president’s way to much power and even though Trump has been trying to distance himself from it (that in itself is scary) 26 of the people drawing us this plan are former Trump people.
If he gets elected in November this will most probably be our last free election. He has stated that he would like to be a dictator for one day. It would only take one day to dismantle our security systems and the loss of the decent freedom loving people. He has also said vengeance is mine. Does this sound like his friend Validamir Putin ?
