Lucile Taylor Jordan

Lucile Taylor Jordan, 74, of Byhalia, formerly of Aurora, Ill., died July 23, 2024, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-DeSoto. She was a member of Anderson Chapel CME Church and attended Providence MB Church. She was a retired caregiver at Bethesda Rehab Center in Aurora.

Visitation will be held at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home on August 2 from 3-6 p.m and on August 3 at Anderson Chapel CME Church from 10-10:55 a.m. with services at 11 a.m. Henry Foster will officiate. Burial will be in Cottrell Memorial Garden.

She leaves her husband, Thomas Jordan of Byhalia; daughters, Danielle Taylor of Byhalia, Paulette Jones (Andre), Jameka Jordan, both of Aurora; son, Ronnie T. Jordan of Plano, Ill.; sisters, Vivian Wells, Cloyce Wilkins, both of Holly Springs, Sherrie Lesure (Torrence) of Collierville, Tenn., Patricia Hebrons (Carl) of Slidell, La., Jocelyn Taylor of Aurora; brothers, Robert Taylor (Jennifer) of Ellisville, Finnie Moore Taylor Jr. of Holly Springs; 24 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Derek Taylor; brothers, Archie Taylor, Winston Taylor and James Lee Pheal.
