Leslie Byron "Junie" Hurdle Jr., 78, of Slayden, died July 9, 2024. He served in the US Army and was a farmer.
Services were held at 11 a.m. on July 13 at Slayden Baptist Church. Burial was in Slayden Cemetery. Bro. Joel Strahan officiated. Holly Springs Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
He leaves his wife, Bonnie Sue Hurdle; sons, Tim Hurdle (Linda), Jackie Brown (Angela); brothers, Paul Hurdle (Nellie), Alan "Skeet" Hurdle (Judy); sisters, Kathy Crawford (Boyce), Dinah Kay Lundine (Joe), Jennifer Speir (Gerry), Eydie Branyan (Bob), Beverly "Nubbie" Hurdle; nine grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
