James "Jim" Charles Castleberry

James "Jim" Charles Castleberry, 88, of Byhalia, died June 14, 2024. He was a U.S. Army Veteran, owner of Union 76 Service Station and Jim Castleberry Trucking. He was also mayor of the Town of Byhalia for one term.
Services were held at Holly Springs Funeral Home Chapel on June 18 at 11 a.m. Burial was in Byhalia Cemetery.
He leaves two children, Betsy Robbins (Robbie) of Pelahatchie, Brian Castleberry of Byhalia; sister, Martha Hardy of Cornersville; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Karen Gansberg Castleberry; brother, William "Bill" Castleberry; sisters, Mary Allcorn, Nellie Dawson and Katie New.
