Jemison "JC" Cole Burrow, 20, of Byhalia, died May 10, 2024, in a drowning accident trying to save a friend. He attended DeSoto County Schools.
A memorial service was held at Byhalia United Methodist Church on May 25 from 1011 a.m. Rev. MJ Pope officiated.
He leaves his mother, Alicia Burrow; father, Corrie Downer; sister, Kinsley Burrow; grandmother, Carolyn Burrow; grandparents, Maw Maw Tenna Downer, Paw Paw Charles Downer; uncles, Donald Pogue, David Burrow III, Ray Downer; and aunt, Tessa Duncan.
He was preceded in death by his nanny, Mary Sue; "Big Daddy," Mack Burrow Jr.; and great-grandmother, Laura Peden.
