Odell "Bubba" Thomas Jr., 65, of Waterford, died May 21, 2024, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford. He served over 20 years in the National Guard and owned Thomas and Son Trucking.
Services were held at 12 p.m. on May 31 at Serenity Funeral Home Chapel in Oxford. Burial was in Harrisonville MB Cemetery in Oxford. Pastor Richard Brown officiated.
He leaves his son, Shaun Thomas of Oxford; brothers, Donald Thomas of Waterford, Patrick Thomas (Mary) of Pontotoc, Danny Thomas of Oxford; sister, Merylin Kay Hill of Olive Branch; and his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Odell Thomas Sr. and Eula Gordon Thomas; sisters, Lorraine and Sherrye Thomas.
