Lula Bell Woods

Lula Bell Woods, 88, of Memphis, Tenn., died February 9, 2024, in Michigan City. She was a member of Grays Chapel CME Church and later of Giving Life Ministries where she served on the mother board.

Visitation will be held at Serenity Funeral Home Chapel on Feb. 16 from 4-6 p.m. with services at 2:30 p.m. on Feb. 17. Burial will be in Grays Chapel CME Church Cemetery.

She leaves her daughter, Mae Doria Franklin (Gregory) of Memphis; brothers, Epson "Snook" Riddle (Louise), Herman "Bent" Riddle, both of Holly Springs; sister, Katie Bell Rhine of Ashland; 11 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, and 29 greatgreat-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnnie Lee Woods Jr.; daughters, Rosie Marie Campbell, Earnestine Hughes; brothers, Orsby "Dude" Riddle, Leroy "Mane" Riddle, Anderson "Bay" Riddle, Addision "Bubba" Riddle, Troy Lee Riddle; sisters, Ida Mae Glover and Ada "Doll" Isom.
