Gloria Young

Gloria Young, 62, of Holly Springs, died December 29, 2023. She was a member of Concord MB Church and was employed at Winter Garden Foods in Rossville, Tenn.

Services were held at 11 a.m. on Jan. 7 at Concord MB Church. Burial was in the church cemetery. Serenity Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

She leaves her sons, Andreas Young of Memphis, Tenn., Brandon Young of Lamar, Justin Young of Richmond, Va., Dedrick Young-Scales, Cedrick Young, both of Jackson, Tenn., Kirk Young of Holly Springs; daughters, Adrien Young of Olive Branch, Shaunice Young-Scales of Sparks, Nev., Monica Young of Lamar; brothers, Theodore Young (Geraldine) of Byhalia, John F. Young of Memphis, Stanley Young of Lilburn, Ga.; sisters, Ruby M. Young, Rosie M. Young, Evelyn Stigger-Rosser (James), Sarah A. Kimbrough (Rodger), all of Memphis; and five grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Roosevelt and Harriet-Waller Young; brothers, Alonzo Young, Roosevelt Young Jr., Chester Young; and sister, Barbara A. Young.
