David Eugene "Sonny" Miller

David Eugene "Sonny" Miller, 83, of Laws Hill, died November 28, 2023. He was a member of New Hope MB Church and retired from Mulay Plastics.

Services were held at 11 a.m. on Dec. 6 at New Hope MB Church in Laws Hill. Burial was in Hardaway Church Cemetery. Serenity Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

He leaves his wife of 40 years, Clara Miller; son, David Anthony Miller (Ellen) of Huntsville, Ala.; daughters, Jacqueline Marshall (Keith) of Memphis, Tenn., Teresa Miller of Holly Springs, Melissa Totten (Bertrial) of Byhalia, Deonco Gillard (Joe) of Oxford, Krista Jenkins (Milton) of Augusta, Ga.; sister, Royetta Bennett of Jackson; 21 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Kenneth, Jaime, Theodis, Jesse; sister, Queen Esther; and granddaughter, Melanie.
