John Allen Davis Jr.

John Allen Davis Jr., 59, of Holly Springs, formerly of Gary, Ind., died October 11, 2023, at Methodist Hospital in Olive Branch. He was a member of Bethlehem Church of the Lord Jesus Christ in Potts Camp and worked as a food caterer.

Services were held at 2 p.m. on Oct. 21 at Chulahoma MB Church. Rev. Lonnie Whitfield officiated. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

He leaves a daughter, LaTonya Eason of Como; son, Allen Murray of Chicago, Ill.; mother, Curine Clark Jamison of Holly Springs; sisters, LaToya Davis of Southaven, Joyce Jamison of Memphis, Tenn., Pamela Jamison of Fayetteville, Tenn., Shanika Jamison of Holly Springs, Felicia Morgan of Olive Branch, Gracie Davis of Gary; brothers, Randell Jamison of Holly Springs, John Davis III of Gary; 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, John A. Davis Sr.
