Willie Edward "Pap" Perkins

Willie Edward "Pap" Perkins, 76, of Holly Springs, died October 12, 2023. He was a member of Jones Grove MB Church where he served as a church usher. He was a retired construction worker.

Services were held at 11 a.m. on Oct. 20 at Jones Grove MB Church. Rev. John Powell, pastor, officiated. Burial was in Cottrell Memorial Garden. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

He leaves a sister, Deloise Perkins of Holly Springs; niece and caregiver, Valerie Perkins of Holly Springs; step-daughters, Janice DeBerry, Kathy Tucker, Mildred Storey, Sandra Kay Tucker, Sunder Tucker and Tanya Tucker, all of Holly Springs; step-son, Matthew Tucker of Holly Springs; and special friend, Loraine McCollough of Holly Springs.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Tucker Perkins; siblings, Dorothy Cowan, Lucille Ward, Charlie Perkins, Jimmy Perkins, and Linwood Jones.
