Blue Devils earn first win of the season

The Ashland Blue Devils hosted a Tennessee team, Middleton High School, in Friday night’s homecoming action.
Ashland and Middleton were winless coming into Friday’s matchup, so there would be a sure first-time winner after homecoming. The Blue Devils crushed the Tigers 48-14.
The Blue Devils were ready and focused, and it showed on the field,” said coach Chris Suggs. “My guys played hard and focused football. I hope we take this success and build on it.”
The Blue Devils travel to Coffeeville High School on Friday, Oct. 6. The game begins at 7 p.m.
