Glenda Kay Boxley Hughes

Glenda Kay Boxley Hughes, 61 of Holly Springs, died July 31, 2023, at her home. She was a member of Pleasant Grove MB Church in Red Banks and employed at Thomas and Betts.

Visitation will be held at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home on August 9 from 3:30-6 p.m. and on August 10 at Pleasant Grove MB Church from 12-12:55 p.m. with services at 1 p.m. Rev. Albroderick Neely will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

She leaves her husband, Jimmy Hughes; five daughters, Catria Jones of Olive Branch, Catasha Boxley, Catisha Boxley, both of Holly Springs, Catrina Boxley of Ashland, Catessa Boxley of Holly Springs; sisters, Janet Houston-Carr, Denise Houston-Stewart; brothers, Larry Boxley of Holly Springs, Oddie Houston of Memphis, Tenn., Eric Robinson of Cleveland, Ohio; and 11 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Oddie Houston and Emmer Lee Boxley; siblings, Vickie Boxley and Dwaine Houston Jr.
