Frank "Small Change" Burgess

Frank "Small Change" Burgess, 74, of Memphis, Tenn., formerly of Holly Springs, died July 22, 2023, at his home. He was a member of Mt. Moriah MB Church and a self-employed brick mason.

Visitation will be held at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home on August 4 from 4-6 p.m. and on August 5 at Smith Grove MB Church from 1010:55 a.m. with services at 11 a.m. Rev. Willie E. Hoey will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

He leaves a daughter, Almeda Burgess of Southaven; sisters, Juanita Waller of Memphis, Everlena Burgess of Holly Springs, Pastor Mary Burgess of Oakland, Calif., Linda Burgess of Holly Springs; brothers, George Burgess of Pontiac, Mich., Cleveland Burgess of Fort Wayne, Ind., Walter Burgess of Memphis; and his fiance, Ethel Owens of Memphis.

He was preceded in death by his siblings, Troy Lee Burgess, Roosevelt Burgess, Louella Burgess Canada, Warren Burgess and Roy Lee Burgess.
