Marilyn Ruth Johnson, 73, of Waterford, died June 23, 2023. She was member of Spring Hill Baptist Church and worked at several local factories, assistant teacher and secretary at Mary Reid and financial secretary at First Baptist Church in Holly Springs.
Services were held at 2 p.m. on July 1 at Holly Springs Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was in Hill Crest Cemetery. Rev. John Parker and Rev. Larry Dukes officiated.
She leaves her husband of 54 years, David Lake Johnson; three children, Melody Michelle McNeer (Robbie), Danyel Ruth Loden (Michael), David Lake Johnson Jr. (Holly); 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by a brother, son-in-law and a grandchild.
