Emma Lee Lesure Brown

Emma Lee Lesure Brown, 83, of Holly Springs, died April 22, 2023, at Methodist Olive Branch Hospital. She was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church, a member of Heroines of Jericho and Eastern Star, United Methodist Women, a Sunday school and VBS teacher, and Cub Scout leader. She was a retired educator with the Holly Springs School District.

Visitation will be held at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home on May 3 from 1-6 p.m. and on May 4 at Asbury United Methodist Church from 12-12:55 p.m. with services at 1 p.m. Rev. Fredrick H. Brown Jr. will officiate. Burial will be in Cottrell Memorial Garden.

She leaves her husband, Rev. Fredrick H. Brown Sr.; daughters, Joslyn Fitzpatrick of Holly Springs, Letonia Shingles of Jacksonville, Fla.; sons, Aric Brown of Columbus, Rev. Fredrick H. Brown Jr. of Lakewood, Wash.; sisters, Ina Collins, Modena Bishop, both of Holly Springs; brother, Isaac Lesure of East St. Louis, Ill.; 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Nelson Lesure.
