William Thomas Schoggen Jr.

William "Tom" Schoggen Jr., from Mt. Pleasant, MS, passed away January 4, 2023, at the age of 63. He was a retiree from Carrier Corp. in Collierville, Tenn.

Whether it was spending time with family or friends, riding his motorcycle, or sitting quietly while hunting or fishing, his love for each was immeasurable. When talking with him you were sure to hear of an adventure, a project, or a fascinating story.

There will be a private gathering of the immediate family at Carey Chapel Cemetery on January 28th followed by a Celebration of Life from 1:00 to 3:00 at the Darby's house, 670 Wildcat Bottom Rd.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Sharon Dennis Schoggen; sister, Shirley Darby (Ronnie); neices, Marie Claire Boyd (Chris), Kim Randle (Daniel), Liz Stewart (Dusty), nephews, Clint Darby (Jeri Ann), Tyler Darby (Beth), Lance Varnado (Lana), Chuck Lewis (Kathleen), 15 great-nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William T. and Claire P. Schoggen and three infant children, William Jarrett, Thomas Ethan, and Sara Elizabeth Schoggen.
