Cora Mae Fant Nash
Cora Mae Fant Nash, 77, of Cleveland, formerly of Holly Springs, died December 1, 2022, at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson. She was a member of Solomon Chapel AME Church in Cleveland where she served on church finance committee and a church stewardess. She was an accountant at Delta Health Center in Mound Bayou.
Visitation will be held at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home on Dec. 8 from 3-5:30 p.m. and Dec. 9 from 10 a.m.-12 noon with graveside services at 2:30 p.m. at Cottrell Memorial Garden. Rev. Willie Hoey will officiate.
She leaves her daughters, Sharma Nash, Marissa Stokes, both of Brandon; son, Sanchez Nash of Alpharetta, Ga.; sisters, Reola Burke of Cleveland, Johnnie Cochran of Huntsville, Ala.; brothers, Oscar Lee Fant of Holly Springs, David Fant of Dallas, Tex., Arthur Fant of Los Angeles, Calif.; and one granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by her siblings, Mamie Ruth Nunnally and Edward Fant.
