Conquistadors take win over Hawks 70-61
The Hawks went into Thursday’s game looking for the upset over number three Olive Branch High School. The two schools have split some marquee matchups over the years, no matter how good either side plays.
The game could have gone either way.
Olive Branch led by eight points in the first quarter, but at halftime they were 16 points in the lead, 42-26.
Camron Isom and Jaylen Sims each scored 13 points leading the scoring for the Hawks. Jabez Jones and Arian Shelton each brought 10 points to the board. Colain Brown scored 6, Geoyl Ambrose scored five, and Keonte’ Jefferson put four points on the board.
Holly Springs played a well-fought game, but the Conquistadors came out on top, defeating Holly Springs, 70-61, to remain unbeaten.
