Lady Patriots win against Magnolia Heights Chiefs

Marshall Academy Lady Patriots kept the lead in Thursday night’s game against Magnolia Heights High School Chiefs with a team effort bringing home the win 39-25.

Kamdyn Taylor’s 19 points led the Lady Patriots on the Chiefs court and Gracie Rappa followed close behind with 15 points.

Taylor put up seven points and Rappa put four points on the board in the first quarter.

Jhaniya Davis scored two and Taylor added two more putting four points on the board for the second quarter. The Lady Patriots had a total of 15 points at half-time.

Landry Loper scored a three pointer, Rappa scored 8 and Taylor scored four bringing the total of 15 points to the Lady Patriots in the third quarter.

Taylor marked up six points in the fourth quarter and Rappa added three more points. The Lady Patriots had a good game Thursday night.

“The biggest thing about our team is we are young and we are just going to get better,” said coach Michael Clifton.

The Patriots will host Desoto School Thursday, Nov. 15. Games will begin at 4 p.m.
