Kenneth Leon Powell

Kenneth Leon Powell, 51, of Byhalia, died September 12, 2022, at his home. He worked at Easley Contractors and was owner and operator of KL Powell Roofing for 35 years. He was a volunteer firefighter at Victoria Fire Department.
Services were held at 2 p.m. on Sept. 17 at Brantley Funeral Home in Olive Branch. Burial was in Boggan Cemetery.
He leaves five children, Matt Smith, Ashley Powell (Chris Waldrop), Kenneth A. Powell, Kayla Morgan (Chase), Brittney Strom; a special friend, Sandy Young; the mother of his children, Angela Strom; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sylvester Leon Powell and Stella Kate Powell and a baby sister.
