Wardna Lynn Martin Harris

Wardna Lynn Martin Harris, 77, of Chulahoma, died August 23, 2022, at St. Francis Hospital in Memphis, Tenn. She was a member of Smith Grove MB Church, a former member of Mt. Peel MB Church, and a homemaker.

Visitation will be held at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home on Sept. 2 from 3-6 p.m. and on Sept. 3 at Smith Grove MB Church from 1010:55 a.m. with services at 11 a.m. Pastor Michael Gordon will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

She leaves her husband, Wavor T. Harris Sr.; daughters, Gloria Harris of Horn Lake, Marristeen Harris of Olive Branch; sons, Wavor T. Harris Jr. of Chulahoma, Rickey Harris of Byhalia, James Terrel Harris of Chulahoma, Walter Lee Harris of Byhalia; stepdaughter, Portia Crain of Olive Branch; sisters, Janie Garard of South Bend, Ind., Alma Butts of Chicago, Ill.; brother, Lester Martin of South Bend; 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her sisters, Ola Mae James, Corine Blackmon, Thelma Williams, Mary Fitts Harris; brothers, Walter Cooper Martin, Theria Jones and George Alexander.
