Wanda Rose Boyd

Wanda was born July 23, 1936 and passed away July 24, 2022, at her home. Her parents were Rosa Lee Welch and Chesley Daniel Boyd. She graduated from Holly Springs High School in 1955 and attended Northwest Junior College. She retired from the Marshall County Health Dept. She was a member of Holly Springs United Methodist Church and a volunteer at the Marshall County Historical Museum and the Humane Shelter.

She was predeceased by a brother, Billy C. Boyd and her beloved “Merlin”.

She is survived by a sister, Lois Boyd of Hernando and a nephew, Robin Boyd of Euless, Texas.

Services were held at H.S. Funeral Home on July 29 with Rev. Jeff Tollison officiating. Burial was in Hill Crest Cemetery.

The family would like to again thank her caregivers, Tammy Pratt, Kathy Frayser and Bonnie Stanford.
