Doris Burchette Edwards

Doris Burchette Edwards, 86, of Red Banks, died July 21, 2022, at Baptist Hospital in Collierville, Tenn. She was a member of Carey Chapel Baptist Church and retired from Carrier.

Services were held at 3 p.m. On July 25 at Carey Chapel Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Holly Springs Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

She leaves two daughters, Brenda Smith of Red Banks, Bonnie Fletcher of Byhalia; three sons, Tommy Edwards, Randy Edwards (Carolyn), Scotty Edwards, all of Red Banks; three brothers, Jerry Burchette of Grand Junction, Tenn., Larry Burchette of Savannah, Tenn., Stanley Mathis of Somerville, Tenn.; two sisters, Beverly Hamm, Polly Campbell, both of Somerville; 14 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Milton Edwards; and a daughter, Nancy Edwards.
