Gene Harmon Sr.

Gene Harmon Sr., 60, of Waterford, died July 23, 2022.

Visitation will be held at New Community Church in Holly Springs on July 29 from 3-6 p.m. Services will be held at 11 a.m. on July 30 at Free Springs CME Church in Harmontown with burial in the church cemetery. Serenity Autry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

He leaves two sons, Gene Harmon Jr. of Holly Springs, Gerodrick Harmon of Laws Hill; three daughters, Jaleza Reed of Potts Camp, Cecilla Reed of Memphis, Tenn., Kayla Reed of Potts Camp; six brothers, Robert Wilson of Chicago, Ill., Tommy Boyd of Tupelo, Roger Harmon Sr. of Laws Hill, Luther Harmon of Waterford, Jerry Hill, Ruffis Hill, both of Como; four sisters, Jimmie Helen Boyd of Chicago, Rosemary Coleman of Waterford, Dorothy Lesure of Potts Camp, Geraldine Howell of Laws Hill; and 16 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jessie Calliutt and Geneva Harmon; brothers, Chester Lee Morning, Crawford Wilson and Willie Hill.
