Jones team wins Emmy Award
Karvis Jones, third production assistant for the Braves LIVE pregame show at Bally Sports South/Bally Sports Southeast was part of the team that won an Emmy Award in Sports Program-Live Single Program category for Hank Aaron weekend at the 2022 Southeast Emmy Awards held in Atlanta.
This is Jones second Emmy win in his career and has been nominated three straight years.
“I’m truly honored to receive this award in the same season that the Atlanta Braves won their first World Series title since 1995 and the team dedicated the entire season in Hank Aaron’s memory is beyond my wildest dreams ,” Jones said.
Jones said he is thankful to represent Rust College and his hometown of Holly Springs.
Jones has been a member of the Bally Sports South/Bally Sports Southeast team since 2006. He is the Vice-President of the Atlanta Rust College Alumni Club and a member of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, National Association of Black Journalists, Atlanta Association of Black Journalists, Online News Association and Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc.
