George Harden Sr.
George Harden Sr., 60, of Holly Springs, died February 24, 2022, in Byhalia. He was married to Natasha Davette Jackson Harden. He was a member of Mt. Pisgah MB Church in Olive Branch where he served as a deacon. He was a foreman for the Marshall County Road and Bridge Division.
Visitation will be held at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home on March 2 from 3-6 p.m. and at New Dimension Salt & Light Ministries on March 3 from 11-11:55 a.m. with services at 12 noon. Minister Darrel Pettis will officiate. Burial will be in Cottrell Memorial Garden.
He leaves a son, George A. Harden Jr. of Holly Springs; five daughters, Zurnita Jackson-Williams of Moscow, Tenn., Shakedra Jackson, Asia Harden, Pamela Smith, all of Holly Springs, Antisha Harvey of Moscow; three sisters, Frances Lee Harden, Gretchen Hope, Gwen Jackson, all of Byhalia; six brothers, Oscar Lee Harden, Randy Harden, both of Olive Branch, Curtis Lee Harden, Carl Harden, both of Holly Springs, Willie Harden Jr. of Byhalia, Herbert Harden of Memphis, Tenn.; and 15 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie Lee and Sarah Hill Harden; siblings, Josephine Harden, Robert Harden and Nathaniel Harden.
