Eddie Frank Sims

Eddie Frank Sims, 75, of Houston, Texas, formerly of Holly Springs, died February 6, 2022, at Memorial Herman Medical Center in Houston. He was a longtime resident of Milwaukee, Wisc. where he was a member of Bethel Baptist Church and member of the Order of Masonic Lodge. He was a retired water tester for Metropolitan Sewage District in Milwaukee.

Visitation will be held at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home on Feb. 25 from 3-5:30 p.m. Graveside services will be held at 12 noon on Feb. 26 at Yarbrough Chapel CME Church Cemetery in Holly Springs. Rev. Tony Wilkins will officiate.

He leaves a son, Marlon Sims of Houston; daughter, Patrice Sims of Milwaukee; sister, Mary Alice Thompson of Milwaukee; brother, Eugene Sims of Holly Springs; and 11 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his children, Norman Broader, Eddie Dewayne Hutchinson; sister, Dorothy Braddock; brothers, Willie Lee Sims and James Rogers Sims.
