Willie Dewey Williams Jr.

Willie Dewey Williams Jr., 81, of Michigan City, died January 29, 2022, at his home. He was a member of Miracle Temple Salt and Light Ministries in Lamar where he served as a deacon. He was a member of North Benton County VFD and Benton County Water Association and was a retired farmer.

Visitation will be held at Miracle Temple on Feb. 5 from 4-6 p.m. and Feb. 6 from 1-1:55 p.m. with services at 2 p.m. Bishop L.T. Mason will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

He leaves his wife, Quetee Franklin Williams; daughters, Linda Williams of Murfreesboro, Tenn., Wanda Preston, Chiquita Thompson, both of Lamar, Tangela Ware of Olive Branch; sons, Pastor Ronnie Franklin of Olive Branch, Floyd Williams, Keith Williams, both of Moscow, Tenn.; sister, Fannie Hudson of Lamar; 22 grandchildren, and 29 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by sister, Cora Griggs; brothers, James A. Williams, Harold Williams, Herman Williams, Harvester Williams, and Lapoleon Williams.
