Congratulations to first-time grandparents, Melissa and Harold Moncrief, on the birth of their grandson. Kyler Moncrief is his proud uncle. Bentley Reece Dozier made his appearance September 14, 2021. He is the son of Klaudean and Tre Dozier.

The Marshall Academy Lady Patriots breezed through the 4A North Half softball tournament. They clinched the title Monday night on their home field.

The ladies were fortunate enough to be able to host this year’s tournament, a great feat in the MAIS as there are so many other schools from which to draw.

A big shoutout to Magnolia Heights in Senatobia for allowing Marshall to use its softball field to lighten the load of the games, as the teams were denied access to our own city park, Sam Coopwood

Congratulations again to the girls and here’s to bringing home the state title! Swing for the fence and beyond!
