Charlene Cothern Gill

Charlene Cothern Gill, 94, of Ashland, died September 23, 2021, at Ashland Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Visitation will be held at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home in West Memphis, Ark. on Oct. 1 from 6-8 p.m.; and at Joiner Baptist Church in Joiner, Ark. on Oct. 2 beginning at 10 a.m. with services at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at Bassett Cemetery in Bassett, Ark.

She leaves her children, Trudy Price, Dan Gill, Polly Gill, Sarah Underwood; sister, Barbara Sue Smith; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gus D. Gill; sisters, Bernise Goodpaster, Velma (Tootsie) Wilburn, Nadeen Cothern, Myrtis Redfern, Lorene Hunsucker, Annie Laura Bolden, Jane Henderson; her granddaughter, Veronica Rodriquez; and great-granddaughters, India Moore and Laila Reymundo.
