Ouida Pearl Ash Williams

Ouida Pearl Ash Williams, 88, of Byhalia, died August 14, 2021. She was a member of Victoria United Methodist Church where she was a Sunday school teacher, served as the president of United Methodist Women and conference delegate. She worked at Sun Gas Company in Byhalia and Synergy in Holly Springs. She served on the board of directors at Northeast MS Health Care and Byhalia Family Health Center.

Services were held at 12 p.m. on Aug. 17 at Coleman Funeral Home Chapel in Olive Branch. Burial was in Byhalia Cemetery. Rev. David Laird and Rev. Wesley P. Dorr officiated.

She leaves a daughter, Dianne Dorr (Pat) of Olive Branch; son, Randy Williams of Byhalia; sisters, Ann Busby of Olive Branch, Mildred Byrd (Phillip) of Holly Springs; four grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy I. Williams; granddaughter, Melinda Williams McGill; sisters, June Foster, Evelyn Taylor, Eunice Tynes; brothers, Warren Ash and Dennis Ash.
