Mahalia King

Mahalia King, 90, of Coldwater, died August 18, 2021. She was a member of Smith Grove Missionary Baptist Church and Chulahoma Missionary Baptist Church and was a homemaker.

Services were held at 1 p.m. on Aug. 28 at Chulahoma Missionary Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Rodgers Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

She leaves her daughters, Lorine Saulsberry, Lovie King, Tricia King, Rochshell Bagwell, all of Coldwater, Annie Doris Littlefield of Memphis, Tenn., Frenchshell Newsom of Byhalia, Sharon Jones of Holly Springs; sons, Phillip M. King of Holly Springs, Randy King of Coldwater, Adolph King of Southaven, Jerry King of Byhalia, Alvin King of Memphis, Anthony King of Olive Branch; 28 grandchildren, 57 great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.
