City Personals
A new year has kicked off for all of our city and county schools. Universities have also started classes.
What a difference a year makes in that everyone seems to be going to face-to-face classes, masks required in some, not in others. I told someone on a Facebook forum, I did not care if Grady had to cartwheel through the doors of the classrooms as long as he was in a class with human interaction.
People griped last year that everything was virtual. This year, it seems the masses are griping because students and/or faculty are having to wear masks whether or not they have been vaccinated. Pick the battle - educational and social isolation or having to wear a mask and be able to interact face to face with classmates, professors, teachers and friends.
Congratulations to Amanda Barnett! She has been named campus correspondent, president, at her campus at Denver University. It is an honor for the sophomore criminology and psychology major. She will do great things in this world!
